Not sure if it was the first digital, but it was the furthest back I could find.
Sadly my more "recent" artworks are for my work which I can't share yet. So of course next closest is my Hawks stuff hehe OvO

I too, have jumped on the recent trend of recreating this scene in my art style.

Which was hard cause my brain kept trying to recreate the style of the anime accidentally.
But I think it turned out pretty alright OuO

Timelapse of making the sketch. I don't normally record my art process cause my PC struggles a little to do it. But you can see i started sketching Enji and I was like "wait this is turning out pretty good! Lemme record it!"

Also to note: i dont always use the 3D wings asset.
