21. Black Metal
Gonna be real, I hated this genre for the longest time. But as of late it has become one of my favorites. I could careless about the Satanist aspects; I just love the darkness of it. The feeling of defeat, disgust & despair. That's what black metal is all about.
23. Industrial
From industrial rock to post-industrial to synthpunk to industrial metal, industrial music has played a huge part for extreme music. Love the intensity, the dark atmospheres and how experimental it can get. Def one of my favorite electronic genres of all time.
31. Post-Rock
Compositions that are otherworldly. Soundtracks to a films that were never made. Atmospheric, grand, and emotionally gripping. This is beyond normal rock music. Uplifting yet gentle. Amazing albums.
