-baroque is lovely, but know when to apply tenebrism

-don’t be too ambitious with a large canvas with constant changing lighting

-pallet knife paintings are NOT my thing. also- do NOT paint in a shed at night with no light

very blended and rough for the first layer - just trying to cover up the canvas and make adjustments, not going for perfect
