Within the hidden recesses of my mind, another me resides. A shadow self. A part of me that I have often subconsciously ignored or denied. A place where shame, guilt, pain, sadness and anger resides.

So I step forth, into the unknown. Into the source of my essence. I become nothing. I become all.

As tears flowed, I shed the heaviness of things which served me no more. I felt a change. Yes. A new beginning. Awareness. Healing.
