Dragon Ball Super as a whole feels very much like Toriyama taking ideas from fans or the non-canon DBZ films and trying to make them work in the canon storyline while putting his own spin on it. Which is why instead of Xicor and West Supreme Kai, we got Goku Black and Zamasu.

@szuniverse They might have thought having a whole series where Crash is way different than his adult self from FOP would confuse kids.

That Fairly Oddparents "Crash Nebula origin story" special was on TV a little while ago and I admit I completely forgot it even existed. Not sure if this was an attempt to pitch for a series (probably was), but I think the art style has some charm to it.

Another favorite cartoon of Woke Twitter is Avatar the Last Airbender.

Remember 14 year old Ty Lee in the beach episode? No one complained.

I see a lot of people say they hate My Hero Academia and Fire Force for the the way the girls are supposedly sexualized, but I hardly ever see anyone complain about Evangelion.

Worked on some characters for my Zelda parody game today with the RPG Maker MV character generator (which is really handy). The ones on the right are based on Malon, Talon, Link and Zelda. The ones on the left are original characters.
