Adventures in drawing on the iPad: Doodled some ladies. Apologies for anyone who doesn't want stuff like this popping up in their timeline, I generally try to keep things like this off my twitter feed.
So, I ran into some old Capcom arcade shooter called Three Wonders, and the promotional art for it is totally awesome, and I love it.
Unfortunately, this seems to be almost all the art that exists for it.
I found a watercolor brush on the CSP material database that I really like. most watercolor brushes either lack the right texture, or multiply like crazy when you pick up the brush. This one hits the look and feel that makes me feel like I'm doing real watercolor sketches.
Finished coloring this sketch to test both CSP's time lapse function, and a method of coloring that uses only ultra low CPU demanding brushes. I wanted to make a process of coloring that looks decent, gives me a lot of color correction control, and doesn't take a lot of time.
Messing around with Clip Studio's new timelapse functionality. Really glad people don't have to watch me spin my canvas ad nauseum now.
I also keep trying to hatch less, but keep failing.
Messing with ultra simple colors. I think I like this sort of coloring over higher contrast and more levels of shading.
