Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga

First full playthrough since release! Holds up remarkably well. Its zany sense of humor was hugely formative on my tastes as a child, and with an adult perspective I can appreciate how much work and care went into crafting this title's personality.

Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3

Cursed title aside, still my favorite way to play SMB3. Its roots as an NES game are pretty clear these days, with a lot of levels being a 30 second straight line or a single gimmick that had me feeling like "...that was it?"

Super Mario Land 2 - 6 Golden Coins

Despite being a fan of Mario platformers this one was a gap for me. Holds up well with its own unique look and feel compared to even contemporary games in the series. Loved this one!
