Today's progress on my painting project. I was repositioning her bobs, and accidentally got this flat version. Pretty sweet.

WIP. I'm trying to employ the information from those painting tuts I retweeted. I'm starting off by establishing a concrete light source, selecting a level of exposure, and blocking out shadows. So far so good! If I can pull this off, it'll be a major step for me, creatively 🤗

are these colors all weird? can't tell because of my monitor. tell me if it needs more saturation or a hue shift or something

I cleaned every line except the face because whenever I try, she loses 50% of the energy. also the underarm came out exactly the way I wanted, so I'm pretty happy
