With so many @Procreate brushes, its easy to get caught up with one set and forget how to use another!
This study is from two days ago, but it made me realize how impressive the #maxpackwatercolors are. I really need to use these more often.

As for #creative output, it's starting to come back slowly and I'm really happy to be doing it again.
I'm not at the output of "drawing everyday" like I have been in the past, but it's nice to see I still have it after doing this #study of a volleyball player in my #sketchbook.
@ArtCampOfficial Spam you say? You’re gonna carry that weight.

Over the weekend, I finally got my hands on @MaxUlichney’s #Gouache #BrushPack for #Procreate.
As to be expected, I took it for a test drive and got to experimenting with a #drawthisinyourstyle.
It took on a life of it’s own during the painting process.
“I tried to upload myself to the cloud... The technology isn’t there yet folks.”
It’s 2020, I needed to make a new portrait for social. What’s more current than #vaporwave/#glitch aesthetics in our present #retro #future?

I heard today was Misato Katsuragi’s birthday today and decided to do a rough sketch as a victory lap for getting closer to finishing a commission.

November/December tends to become a hibernation state for creative endeavors.
Around this time, work/life balance gets shifted due to the business of my 9 to 5... But I’m working on changing that this year.
So who wants to see a #warmupsketch that I’m particularly proud of?
As a sweet little bonus, enjoy a #timelapse video of this #spookyportrait coming together!
... And after posting the process of this portrait coming together over four images, you know what I did?
I went ahead and finished my spooky portrait for 2019. It’s better than last years (that didn’t materialize) and be the last thing you want to see in a mirror!
I may be “late to the party”, but when I caught wind of @MaxUlichney’s new #Procreate #Brush, I knew I had to give it a spin.
It’s a really nice brush, but to unlock its true potential I think you need to play fast and loose with #SketchySarmento!
