Happy Friday. Here’s some astro heresy. This was inspired by an actual good and natural photo that @NullPunktNix shot 😂. I don’t do much photo editing, but when I do I get carried away 😝 . #Astrophotography
@NullPunktNix That is a fantastic photo!!! I started on this one, around the time I learned about the whole filter and F/2 thing..
This is with L-Extreme I believe... an 11" RASA, and an ASI071MC in a bortle 8-9 zone... 10 hours on first panel... I threw in the towel.
@DaydreamAstro @warrior_orion The Flame Nebula in broadband. Shot from Bortle 8-9 zone 😬
Ultra widefield shot of Flaming Star Nebula & The Spaghettini Nebula (and others) taken from my backyard using a Rokinon 135mm and narrowband filter. Could use some cleanup in processing for sure. #Astrophotography
@apoorvaiyer APOD 😂. That’s some pressure man! I saw that image last week! It’s really great. Very similar field of view. I have some previous processings from various steps in the project.
@RonanHunt88 Still working on a 3 panel mosaic frantically trying to get all the data I want 😂.
I’m not really a fan of starless images, but I was checking out my additional exposures captured the last two nights on The Horsehead Nebula, and it really gives you an interesting perspective on the region. #Astrophotography
Horsehead Nebula in Ha (Hydrogen Alpha Emissions). This is part of my current work in progress on this target. Shot from the city - Bortle 8-9 zone. This is 3 panels of a mosaic with 5.5 hours on each panel. #Astrophotography
A super fast processing of The Flame Nebula shot in broadband. Still lots of light pollution I need to deal with on this one 😩 #Astrophotography
