A riveting scene that 8 year-old me drew in 1969: THE VISION'S STUCK IN A TREE!! Don't worry, Thor frees him with Mjölnir. BTW, if this is how WandaVision ends, I'll feel like a genius. #FlashbackFriday
Few things inspire me more than new artwork by 94 year-old Ramona Fradon. Here's a recent Punisher commission that she knocked out of the park...
The only conspiracy theory I subscribe to: @KevinNowlan may not be human. Evidence: this absurdly wonderful art from INFERNAL MAN-THING.
More #TBT art! I drew this one in 1968. It features the most frightening Frankenstein ever - ALL FINGERS, NO THUMBS! #Spoooooky
Jack Kirby words/pictures from CAPTAIN AMERICA #194, 1975.
Cap: It took two hundred years, Falcon...but this country's grown up!
Falcon: Jive! It's still trying, friend! I'll stake my life on that!
Process shots of a recent commission featuring Kermit and Miss Piggy singing at @amanknownaswaz and @theycallmerew's wedding: Pencils, inks, and watercolors/mixed media.
I was recently commissioned to create some Muppet art showing Kermit and Piggy singing at at a couples' wedding, and I'm SO glad they were happy with it. Mixed media on 8.5 X 11" bristol board.
@Maukingbird Mine too! I enjoyed our RUSHMORE a gosh darn amount, too. That counts as a 2020 highlight , especially since 2020 highlights were few and far between!!
It was often hard to find any joy in my teen years, but Richard Corben's work always provided it for me. When I heard his collection RICHARD CORBEN: FLIGHTS INTO FANTASY was released, I spent all day transferring on busses in a blizzard to buy it. R.IP. Richard.
