Did some sketching from a George Bridgman anatomy book - something I used to do a lot, but haven't done in forever!
Another chapter of "Strange bedfellows I have loved." Frank Frazetta and Jonathan Winters!
Sketch practice that got out of hand! I turned a scene from PSYCHO into a comic page, using pen, brush, ink, wash, and watercolor pencil. I altered Lila's pose a bit in panel 1 to help with transition, and darkened mother's faces in 4-6 to save reveal for 7.
Some beautiful, unused Al Williamson work for a 3D sci-fi book that E.C. had in the works.
I'll be a guest at @OmahaComicCon, July 13-15, Booth A17. I'll have copies of my graphic novel THE FALLING MAN, sketches, original art, and maaaybe a couple surprises! The eminently talented @Maukingbird will be my boothmate. Come see us!

I'm gonna try to do a TWIN PEAKS sketch a day until the S3 premiere. #1: BOB! Brush, ink, and wash on 6 X 9" bristol board.
I like the simple, effective storytelling here. Not to mention the art. Good show, Don Newton!
ICYMI: #Inktober Day 20: a scene from STAR TREK: TOS, "The Immunity Syndrome." Ink, wash, marker, and conté crayon on 6 X 9" bristol board.
