But in actually trying to make a black and white version for other uses, we decided that including outlines was a much stronger look for the character, and worked much better at smaller sizes too. So at the very last minute, we veered down the road to what we have now:

This went all the way through to a full colour version that didn't use any outlines and almost made it as the final version:

This then went into Illustrator where I redrew it in a more simplified form, and then started to colour it:

@philhawksworth @Mandy_Kerr Aww cheers Phil. I would say I am not great at likenesses, though. That said, I did enjoy drawing this Batman.
