Akko is also based off the Flapjack Octopus, specifically the dark, vibrant red variety! I translated the fins that rest above the eyes into bangs!

Since the discovery of the Glass Octopus is running rampant , I feel like it's a good time to mention that Kamui is based off the Ghost, or "Casper" Octopus, which lacks any pigment from being so deepsea—resulting in this pigment-less lavender color!
