Life cycle of a wasp monstergirl.
They lay eggs. They're completely helpless for the first 9 years, only able to wiggle around and make a "Screee" noise and eating only meat. 1 year to pupate. The 2 years after emerging their chitin hardens, and they learn to walk/speak/etc.
Cool arthropod faxt: Centipedes are good mothers. They stay coiled around their eggs diligently cleaning and protecting them, even staying after they've hatched!
