A lot of Ojamajo Doremi's core staff remained for Nadja, with Takuya Igarashi reminaining as Series Director.

We even had *three* episodes directed by Mamoru Hosoda! All of them great for completely different reasons.

No exaggeration at all here when I say that Ojamajo Doremi really is a titan when it comes to magical girl anime.

While not as well known in the English speaking world due to a botched dub from 4Kids, it was licensed everywhere and has a complete English sub too.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year is our next anime, Yume no Crayon Oukoku, a magical girl comedy that squarely changed the demographic of the timeslot to young girls.

This was licensed all over Europe and has a partial English sub up to Ep.50 by SquareSubs.

Gokinjo Monogatari was next up and continued the run of anime adapted from Ribbon Comics manga.

Gokinjo Monogatari is also directly related to the 2005 anime Paradise Kiss, where the main character Mikako Kouda would also appear.

Marmalade Boy in 1994 came next with a change in directon for the timeslot. While the last few years were very much targeted at young boys, from now the timeslot was aimed at girls instead.

Marmalade Boy would go on for 76 episodes and is licensed in the US by Discotek.

Ghost Sweeper Mikami came up next, based on a manga from Weekly Shounen Sunday. More Mitsuru Aoyama designs here with Atsutoshi Umezawa as Series Director.

Next up was Maple Town Monogatari which started in 1986 and had a sequel series the year after.

On first glance it may not look like the most important anime out there but this is actually where some of anime's greatest minds got their big breaks and starts.

My Hero Academia's 1st season aired in Nichigo (and was unceremoniously skipped in the trailer)

This was the only season that aired on Nichigo but hey, it's still the start of one of the most popular anime still airing to this day!
