Sometimes I'm bummed that I don't meet new people too often anymore. Then I see some of you folks who've got tons of friends, workmates, acquaintances, connections... and those people spoil the shit out of anime for you. And suddenly I don't feel so bad.

Reminder that one of Q-Bee's ES moves is to fucking lay eggs inside her opponent, die, and birth a new Q-Bee. It's these kinds of fucked up special moves that convinced me that #Darkstalkers is the best 2D fighting game series that doesn't deserve to stay dead.

I won't lie, I want a #RevueStarlight fighting game in the style of the first Marvel vs Capcom. It'd be theatrical, bombastic, and it'd play the songs during hyper combos. It can also have the Duo Team Attacks for four-person revues. And the giraffe is the announcer. I need it.

Are they the smartest pair in any tag team fighting game over the past 20+ years? No. Are they the strongest? No. The most charismatic? No. But are they best? Absolutely.

As someone who never got to play it until just now, TIL the first Darkstalkers is GODDAMN HARD. I really like it though. It makes me appreciate how much easier a lot of fighting games that came out just a few years after were in comparison, and even those were fairly challenging.
