decided on a whim to read all of archie sonic post-super genesis wave. it is OUTSTANDINGLY good and is basically everything i remember loving from archie as a kid in a coherent pendersless package. highly recommend it.

classic mecha silver and proto silver are god tier tho, everything about how they handeled the classic into modern stuff in archie felt so PERFECT and i hope sega lets it return going forward.
