Someone asked me how I make my art seem kind of soft and tho i dont have any set rules about anything, I do have this one trick I do using the softlight layer which makes skin seem glow-y in my art.

I didn't realize how much I missed him until I posted that rework so I did another drawing of Shuichi ;-;

Posting this old ref of him from like 2 years ago and it feels a bit surreal to see the difference

also new Shuichi is a lot taller than old Shuichi now
