I always love making non-black background pieces.

I find it's especially effective if you use a black border and some black characters in the piece, creating the illusion that black has been used the background colour! :)

Concept stuff for a battle game idea, where you can change your bot's abilities by swapping modular pieces (head, body, arms, legs). With six of each kind, that'd give you 1,296 different bots to make! (Did I maths right?) 😃
