It's a rocky but fun road and seeing the growth, especially in real time over these 17 whole ass years, has been such a wild ride. I will genuinely never forget silently screaming watching All This and Gargantua 2 the night it aired. I also never forgot the pilot when i was a kid

A rarity in which all characters hit their marks. There are flaws, and while I do not dismiss them as an age thing, it's pretty noticeable what episodes aired a long time ago compared to now. It's a series that has IMPROVED, rather than reject criticism. Growth happens.

Venture Bros is a series that was never made for profit. It wasn't created to cash in on new pop culture or the weird, fast consumerist meme culture we have today. It's just a well-written comedy. Esoteric jokes. Riffs on classics.

It has a good cast of characters too though surprisingly no Monarch! But for season 2 which has SOME plot, it's okay for a stranger to watch still! Orpheus and his master are DELIGHTFUL, Pete is peak IDIOT, Billy is the bulliable friend, and a small peak at Rusty lore happens!

It has some of the best lines and weird esoteric moments "Yeah Clarissa, explain it all!"
"Make you believe that you are a very special episode of Blossom!"
"I thought you told me to fill it with hot VOILE!"
"YOU HOLD A GUN LIKE A GUY WHO PLAYS RIVEN" (MY FAV LINE!)

I LIKE SEASON 1. I also watched it almost 20 years ago and acknowledge a lot of flaws, but god damn the nostalgia. Epiosdes 4,5,6,9, and 12 are all good, but 10-

Triana I also really do love because there's something so incredibly real about her character. She's exactly how me and my goth friends were when I was that age. She's a fantastically done teen girl, she's not some dramatic goth stereotype. Just chill. Little spooky. But chill.

As for some of the other ladies:
I legit wanted to be Kim when I was 10-12 years old. I saw her and then when I was in HS (middle school had uniforms) I started wearing black and pink and i wanted to get cyberfalls and everything.
