Good morning

Why are we tempted to rank things when we’re bored? Anyway here are my favourite canon books. More or less in order I think?

Haven’t read the new Vader comic yet so no spoilers but istg if they brought back Sabé just to kill her off...

Age of Republic by @Jody_Houser explores the heroes and villains from the prequels, while her TIE Fighter miniseries focuses on Shadow Wing, the main antagonists from Alexander Freed’s Alphabet Squadron. Houser also wrote the Thrawn and Rogue One comic adaptations. #SWWomen

.@zlikeinzorro’s YA novel A Crash of Fate follows childhood best friends Izzy and Jules as their paths drift apart then cross again on their homeworld of Batuu. #SWWomen

.@mightymur’s Solo novelization adds new depth to the film. Moving Target: A Princess Leia Adventure, co-written by Cecil Castellucci with Jason Fry, follows the adventures of Princess Leia between ESB and ROTJ. #SWWomen

Thanks to E.K. Johnston’s Queen’s Shadow and Queen’s Peril, Padmé and her handmaidens are finally in the spotlight. Johnston also wrote Ahsoka which follows the fan-favourite character from her departure from the Jedi Order to her appearance in Rebels. #SWWomen

Resistance Reborn written by @RoanhorseBex picks up where TLJ left off while expertly reintroducing familiar characters from other canon media. #SWWomen

Claudia Gray got to write Leia at two stages of her life in Leia Princess of Alderaan and Bloodline. She also developed Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan’s relationship in Master and Apprentice and wrote Lost Stars about two star-crossed lovers set during the original trilogy. #SWWomen

Beth Revis wrote the heartbreaking YA novel Rebel Rising which chronicles Jyn’s life before Rogue One. #SWWomen
