Earlier this year I made a little #dungeonsanddragons zine for an exhibition. It was a super fun little project that I worked on with my wife and our son, designing characters and contributing bits and pieces.
Cover models by Elizabeth Marruffo, endpages and comics by our son.
Threw some colour under the illustration.
What a cute gang of brawlers.
Each chapter in the book is told from the point of view of a different character, with the art style shifting to match their personality and reflect the way they see the world.
Still stunned that Home Time was nominated for an Eisner in the Best Publication for Kids category. Head over to cast a vote for my strange book, that re-imagines my hometown and childhood as a magical wonderland.

The direct lineage.
I made a #dnd zine with my wife and our 9 year old. It was super fun and relaxing to do.
A little drawing of my favorite kids comics series, Anders by Greg Mackay. They're fun, sensitive, action packed and beautifully drawn.
Process shots from chapter 3 of my book Home Time.
