@otherhappyplace have always been fascinated by henry darger and his seemingly endless worlds, the tension between innocence and violence, and the way he worked despite no formal art training and using mostly found materials. some of his work is rly uncomfy but i can’t not look at it for ages

@chelseakenna huge advice, also worth saying that your style can and is allowed to change dramatically throughout your drawing career. you’re not bound to doing one thing once you figure something out. below is my art in 2011 at 16 and my art today at 27
