These 2 will be my main inspiration. I love the gaping mouth in the chest but I also prefer the Soul Edge when it's made out of flesh.

I've had some brainstorming for the February crossover contest (Dark Souls x another videogame) and came to the conclusion of doing a Dark Souls version of Nightmare from Soul Calibur. I might be posting wips as I do so, it's a pretty interesting project.
