the picture on the left was the first drawing i ever did with reference and i was So proud of it at the time.....i remember being very chuffed with the hands especially! i think this is about 6 years of progress :-)
if you had told 13-year-old me that in the future one of my favourite things to draw was going to be hands i would have screamed and run away
i wanted to try the start vs end thing so here‘s the progression of my most recent piece! can you tell that the person in the reference i was using for grief was wearing Very Different Clothes
