Zeb Wells writes a very kind and sympathetic Spider-Man. I love that about his portrayal of the character.

Just a few panels and pages that define Spider-Man for me. Feel free to share any that do that for you!
Sometimes it feels like the Ditko run goes weirdly unappreciated online. What are some of your favorite issues/moments from the Ditko run?
It's really fun to see Peter reach new heights both literally & figuratively throughout this run. He goes through a lot of changes. And yeah, eventually, he falls. But the run doesn't end there. Because, as we all know, Peter always finds a way to get back on his feet.
Part of the journey also involves Peter coming to terms with mortality. He deals with a lot of death throughout his life, and the way this set of stories explores how his mindset changes and develops as a reaction to it all is quite interesting.
The journey frequently reminds us what some of those traits are: not his powers but his intelligence, his responsibility, his compassion, his humility, his sense of humor, his family, and his amazing friends.
