BEYOND is the 4th book I've worked on with @Miranda_Paul, and she has tons of interest and enthusiasm about space--and about poetry. Illustrator @Sija_H dreamed of becoming an astronaut when she was a kid, making her a perfect fit!
In the midst of all today's #alayma excitement, I want to give a special shout-out to illustrator Khoa Le. In addition to illustrating the Sydney Taylor Honor Book MIRIAM AT THE RIVER, she also illustrated 3 more books released in the US in 2020! 1/3
