The last few images, I think the differences are probably mostly evident to me, but I spent a LOT of time on these last few.
It's probably pretty obvious why I like Nicole Duennebier's work. Go follow her on Instagram already at https://t.co/apUdkGpVys
This is a weirder one, but I was thinking about webcomics and so I figured I'd add the surreal, dreamlike digital paintings of @davidhellman from the comic A Lesson Is Learned But the Damage is Irreversible. These made a big impression on me as a teenager.
Philly-based Sarah Detweiler is a mixed media artist doing wonderful things with color. On Instagram at https://t.co/g4IR9WbYl0
Lauren Marx draws nature (red in tooth & claw) delicately and grotesquely. On Instagram at https://t.co/GJVWItOe0c
I had a high school drawing teacher pass me a copy of a book of Danijel Zezelj's work and I remember it kinda blew my mind. His run of DMZ is still some of my favorite comic book art. I honestly hadn't checked out his work in years so this has been really nice to revisit.
Matthew Brennan doesn't have a website that I can find (I think his domain name might have lapsed or something) but his work is beautiful and layered and dizzying and you should go follow him on Instagram at https://t.co/iqLzx7JoBr
