#OTD 50 yrs ago, a cultural bombshell exploded. "2001: A Space Odyssey", written by Arthur C. Clarke & Stanley Kubrick, & preserved by the Library of Congress in the Nat'l Film Registry, broke new ground in content & visual effects. So pleased I was there to see that moment!
