RIP Russian illustrator Victor Chizhikov, who died yesterday at age 84. He illustrated the Soviet versions of Winnie the Pooh and Wizard of Oz, and also designed the Mishka bear mascot of the 1980 Moscow Olympics. His drawings combined terrific skill with charm, fun & appeal.
