I hate seeing how tired Kappa is, both past and present, it just breaks my heart. Especially reading through the flashback sequence of him getting more scales removed, you can just see him getting more exhausted with each panel. This boy deserves some rest and love 😣

This is such a difficult situation because obviously, it's not right for them to be harming anybody, much less a kid in such a mutilation. But at the same time, evident by her shaky voice (or speech bubble), the Queen is under immense stress trying to keep her people alive 😰

I know that Kappa's emotionally distraught right now and he probably isn't realizing it, but I hope he appreciates how amazingly supportive the witches have been. Even Neth, who keeps her emotions in check and is very cool gets so protective around him; they are best moms 😤

The AUDACITY of this man, to pressure Kappa. As if his prophecy could be solved by any other means. On a side note at least, the two in the background looking at each other in confusion and concern are great lol. Wendy's amazing attention to detail.

Since we know that she was not referring to Nee here, I'm inclined to believe that Neth is actually talking about herself here. She may feel responsible for the death of her kingdom, feeling she was useless or not strong enough at the time. It's very introspective...

I'm so glad that Kappa got time to spend with each of the witches on one of these prophecies. I just know that no matter what, Neth is gonna have his back and protect him 😊

Where I think Nee and Krill differ from the other rulers is while the other three have their negative qualities (anger/impatience, carelessness, apathy) Nee and Krill became better people and rulers through Kappa and Siren's influence; while the others treat Kappa like an object

I think and hope that these words sit with Nee. After all, it's very apparent that Neth does not hold back her thoughts. That's why I think these words speak so starkly as these are her true honest thoughts on the matter, not her trying to make Nee feel better

Emotional support witches! Knowing that they are there may not be enough to alleviate the anxieties off of Kappa, but we all know that if anything were to go down, all three of them would have the boy's back lol

The GLARE from Nee, I'm crying lol. And how unbothered Neth and Mono are during all this! I really do hope they can work together and have an improved relationship but I do like the sort of distrust rivalry they have going on as well
