@JLewisStempel I was recently asked where I would plant 100 #oaks on a neighbours farm.
I think I wouldn’t, not here in our oaky valley.
I think I would leave that job to the #jays and just find and protect what they plant.

After all, they are the experts in this particular game!

Been sketching (from photos) trying to work out the shape and feel of a #kingfisher

I have an idea for a embroidery but first... sketching lots!

Saw two birds flit about in one of our hedges yesterday, as I walked home from checking the sheep. The light caught their wings, all flurry and movement and bright feathers.

So #ink #watercolour #pencil and #pastel all got used to try to catch the moment.

@coleopteriste @minibeastmayhem Right. Now I just have to get it printed onto the organic calico, cut out, stitched up and ta da! Done!
I may do tea towels too, because Every kitchen needs a dung beetle in it!
