I'm really fond of the idea of this bust, but I just... I tried experimenting with a somewhat more realistic style, and it just did not turn out well at all.

So I think I'm just gonna treat this as a design sketch and move on. Come back to it later, and do it in my usual style.

Day 1, OCtober.

Alys, Human form. Same as when she was wearing a suit, only this time, I actually bothered to do the ear changes.

Alys Ravenwood, vampire monarch and Dark Lord... on vacation and in human form in a world without magic.

Like this, her power is vastly reduced, but... She's still a primeval vampire.

Man, I just... Cannot figure out what's wrong with these lips. They're the only thing I really have left to do here. Just... Finish them.

Flats done, just got a few little accoutrements to add, like belt loops and buttons, but then it's onto shading and rendering.

I definitely feel like I should have completely redrawn this instead of just trying to finish the WIP from like... Six months ago, but hey.
