“Blue Period” is a manga about a high schooler trying to get into Tokyo Art University, the top art uni (and possibly the hardest uni to get accepted) in Japan. I don’t think there is any other manga focused on art this intense, 100% recommend especially if you’re an artist.

Mushi-shi is an anime about a traveling "mushishi" Ginko and his encounters with people and "mushi". Super pretty, great atmosphere, EXTREMELY GOOD SOUNDTRACK with ED music made specifically for each episode. Each episode is its own story. would recommend.
