as assassinations. this further strengthen his belief, that being Cursed is a path of evil.. that killing and destruction is the only thing he's good at.

thus, our good Daniel became Ugly Cat.

this weighed very heavily on Daniel. He's still grieving over his girlfriend's death, his cousin's condition, and now facing persecution from society.

He would look at the mirror and hate his own reflection. He hated himself and how the curse made him "ugly".

the people around them are reacting differently too. everywhere Daniel goes he was met with bad looks, cold shoulders and fear the moment they see his eyes.

It didn't help that Daniel couldn't fully control his magic yet and often end up accidentally hurting someone.
