Acrylic study - it’s a warm day and acrylics can be so frustrating when they are literally drying on your brush as you’re trying to touch up little mistakes, but I still like them #acrylicpainting #portraitstudy #sketchbook

Finishing a commissioned pet portrait. Backlighting is an interesting challenge colour wise…I use to mostly avoid browns but I’m loving pre-mixed brown more snd more these days in my acrylic pallet.

It’s worth painting on good quality surfaces because if it doesn’t work you can paint over it…and over it and over it…infact on a quality surface there’s nothing painted that can’t be completely erased by paint except lumps. #painting #portraits #art

It’s summer holidays so I’m going to play with ideas in my sketchbook at every opportunity, and test out some styles. #sketchbook #drawing #painting #Artist #style
