I just saw a tiktok showing the parallels between Catra and Glimmer's character and it took me out. They are character foils and it's why Glimmer is able to break Catra’s walls down quite quickly and why I truly believe they become very close friends.

I find it incredibly interesting that S4 is the only season Adora wears her sword on her arm like this, almost like she is shackled to She-Ra. It's the same season she breaks the sword in to save Etheria. She breaks the control. She's no longer held back by the First Ones in S5.
