Also, note that he's touching her. He's deathly afraid of women and refuses to be near them. (Thus, the large distances earlier) now he's touching her without even thinking.

This scene would have been so much cooler if she actually had any power. But as far as I know she's ur average girl with no legendary warrior powers. The only thing she does have is the future bride title which may or may not end up getting tossed out when Cornell isn't cured.
