One of the last two pieces I finished during 2018, some Unicorn kids for the book.

Fun piece I whipped up for practice over in Burbank and finished tonight- Super speedy!

Practicing drawing wings and effects.

Finished these at last! I decided to go with a more cell shaded style with crisp line art for the book illustrations and backgrounds!

Character sketches for the book, as well as some rough second color passes of the magic valley and river... need to add more color variety to the trees and mushrooms... purple and red everywhere is a bit too dull/repetitive.

Very early work in progress- still need to nail the overall color composition and lighting. Going to add some rainbow leaves to add variety to each tree on the next color pass...

Final design of Dale the diabeetus-unicorn. Also updated the colors on Eva because it was too desaturated...

One last WIP this week. Working on a children’s book about ditzy unicorns and have been trying to nail down the exact style of the characters as well as the appearance of each unicorn. The story is fully outlined, just need to write the dialog/narration and begin story boarding.

Been practicing ZBrush Core off and on, finally got around to finishing this up and rendering it.
