Immediately after messing up Blitzø's clean shot, he realises that he was panicking, though I'm not sure he realised why. He didn't want to tear their target's family apart as his feelings towards his own got in the way.

He says parents, not just his mother who was quite literally murdered. He was dreaming about his father being murdered too. Moxxie clearly hates his father (can't say I blame him 😤)

Starting off with the pilot episode; he's woken up by Blitz who asks him "Watcha dreamin' about?"

Mox says "I WAS dreaming my parents were being murdered. And now, I'd like to go back to that"
