Spider-Verse didn't fix Miles as a character because he was never broken.

He just needed a new and fresh direction for a character that has been writen by the same writer for 10 years and Spider-Verse gave him this. Go argue with a wall.

I think Ultimate Spider-Man Series isn't trying to be a one by one comicbook adaptation but rather than trying to continue the story comics have told.

The series isn't canon to the comics but considering that the most of the villains are already exists is a proof to this point.

Fun fact: Miles Morales Ps5 is the only adaptation of the Miles which uses the same Venom Blast color in the comics.

It would have been cool if the End Suit had its own unique Venom Blast style like in the comics and the Itsv Suit having blue Venom Blast like in the movie.

I'm not sure if this is what inspired Insomniac Games to put time capsules as collectibles in Miles Morales Ps5 but its cool to think about it.
