A bit of insight on how I draw. I find a reference to get an idea for the pose and facial expression then I try customizing it to fit who I’m trying to draw, in this case Vanessa!

This is Vanessa now.

Now I always use models I find on Pinterest/Google. I had to find a reference for her mouth as well.

Moving forward I wanna start adding more detail to the eyes. They still look a little flat. Also learn to color clothes.

This is Vanessa from 2021.

2021 is where things started to come together for me. I was using a 3D model for the pose and Victoria’s Secret models for the underwear and outfit.

Hair seems too frayed though. And the skin could use more darker colors.

I’m pretty sure this was made with zero references and zero remorse for her feelings.

The eyes are uneven, mouth is way too small, and the skin feels flat. Her hair doesn’t make sense and her collar bone is MIA lol.

But hey, we all start somewhere.
