So, I've idly pondered this idea wherein Elliot and some music school friends are playing at a costume party and they went "hey, let's all crossdress as our costumes", and this finally popped out.

I was talking about cute Crossbell danger fruit mascot characters and the green-haired dork who loves them, and went to "Rufus sends up Danger Fruit merch to the Yushimakis, Machias adores it" from there.
