One last creature for 2020. May 2021 be a vast improvement over this dumpster fire of a year
it's a revisit of my old Northern Lights dragon from 2016
Took me roughly 5x as long to get it done as it normally would, but I finally finished my super-late holiday card painting.
Why are people equating using an iPad for art as being unpolished or easy? All these were painted on an iPad with Procreate. I'm not a master yet, but I dare anyone to tell me these were easy. Use whatever tools you have available and master them and your art will be quality.
My personal version of the metal unicorn. I wanted to do a darker metal, blue fire version. It was also fun to do a more psychedelic colored environment. It's like he's scorching through Lisa Frank land.
@wietze_fopma Thank you! Here's some of my stuff! https://t.co/4d2Z4MpDsw
Charamath's Black Fri-Weekend Art Thingy! I even upgraded my website so I could make everything all automatic and fancy - https://t.co/N1C5plJwxt
Usually I'd be mad prepping for my biggest show of the year right now while also cooking food for 30 people, but instead I am straddling that line of 'how much can I mention my site before everyone unfollows me' Yay, the holidays during Covid while being a freelance artist >.<
Going through some of my past holiday card paintings and...🎶one of these things is not like the others 🎶
(also I feel like there's a definite improvement since the cocoa dragon of 2016)
