Good morning! On October 9th, 2014, I made my first ever fully digital drawing. How things have changed…
Ok, hi! The prologue to my original webnovel HERMES is now available to read on whichever platform you like ✨ It's a sci-fi romance about an artificial intelligence gaining a corporeal form and learning about spicy food, music, and love.
a more subtle version of art improvement but these two images are lightyears apart in technique tbh. dec2018 took me ~3 hours. nie huaisang was done in under an hour
december 2018 - september 2021
Procreate: Smoothest, slickest, coolest interface. It's worth the $15 but you're gonna spend another $100 in brushes. It lacks a lot of functionality that it really should have (stuff that Medibang has, and Medibang's free). Flood fill fix WHEN?
I love it and I wish I didn't tbh
Medibang: The free version slaps. Incredibly solid program. Intuitive and smart. Very limited brushes :( Not as many bells and whistles as the other big iPad apps.
A great free option imho. I used it for 4 solid years with no regrets lol
Paint Tool Sai: Sexy, stunning, beautiful. Flexible in all the right ways. Fucking... PC only. Why is it PC only? I have a PC but I'm not cranking up my massive gaming rig to doodle my doodles when my iPad is sitting right next to me unleashed.
Best drawing tool on the list tbh.
Photoshop: I've been using PS for ~15 years. It serves a purpose and its color-correction tools are second to none. Valuable, expensive, important program
Absolutely the worst drawing tool on the list. If you wanna draw digitally I implore you to use ANYTHING else lmao
