The comic starts out with Betty getting her ears pierced, something I would do a couple years later, for instance.

I started writing Four Years in response to loss, fears about my own health, and my relationship to gender

Four Years is my comic about Betty Yaris, who's taking her life in a great direction at the age of 32 - she's got amazing friends, just got her ears pierced, and has a clear vision of her future.

I also draw non-sequential images

I work with larger publishers to help bring other comics to life - I've been a colorist and an inker most recently, working on some great projects

I'm co-publisher (along with @wormulus) of the Ignatz-nominated Ley Lines series – comics about and inspired by art! (made possible by @AnnieKoyama, @issuepress and all of the amazing artists)
