Someone requested something similar to the American Dragon “scene where Jake reveals his identity to Rose! But with Iris and Cilan.” I tied it to the Sanyou/Striaton triplets=Dark Trinity/Shadow Triad theory.

Two young trainers, 10 and 14, severely injured by freak skiiing accident, nearly killed, by over-excited companion, 10, after overcoming lifelong fear of ice and snow.
(Very old art, drawn as I was learning to use tegaki! Cilan’s age is only a headcanon.)
@SunnyKnights This... was me. Look at how I used to draw Iris before I learned to draw kids (the first human characters I wanted to draw and learned to draw were Team Rocket, so... adults.)
See? Oddly tall and more like an adult!!
Now, I have a hard time making adults not look soft and moe.
