Why are they even here just spouting nonsense and being argumentative and making the only thing left that people who aren't rich can enjoy an unpleasant mess?

Literally the entire point of the multiverse is to show different takes on the DC universe and make gobs of money by altering IP in myriad ways, without once changing continuity. And even the most reactionary people with a history in comics know that.
