I don't paint furry OCs very often, so I realized halfway through - after I had gotten a decent amount of work done - that the facial anatomy was completely broken. So! had to start over, but I think it was worth it!

Putting this here to warn against getting too fiddly / excited about sketches - i was SO excited for this piece, but i realized as i went to paint over it that the anatomy was completely broken annnnddddd I had to repaint basically everything ground-up 🙃

I'm so pleased with how this portrait came out - I really noodled my way to the finish line and worked in really gentle layers vs. straightforward painting, but I love the glow it created. Only the best for Rhowin.
